This post will be short and sweet.
So many times, in so many meetings we go to, we are asked as parents and caregivers to share what our child’s strengths are.
What I would love to see is this. Each time we attend a review meeting, it starts with the professionals at the table telling the parents and caregivers in the room what THEY see our child’s strengths to be. Let us know you see our child – not just their skills, but their character. Show us that our child matters to you.
I promise, we will be forever grateful.
