Anxiety doesn’t work that way!

Anxiety doesn't work that way

Sometimes I just want to scream out “ANXIETY DOESN’T WORK THAT WAY!!”

Despite what some people think it’s not always best to just jump right in with both feet and go under; sometimes you need to go slow, dip your toe in, get used to the water, then go a bit deeper and deeper as your confidence rises.

What the hell is wrong with dipping your toes in and going slow, being purposeful and deliberate, people?

Why do we still insist on throwing our kids into the deep end when they barely know how to swim!?!

And WHY are we still having these conversations knowing what we already know?!?
