I’m excited to announce that Karen Copeland, Founder of Champions For Community Mental Wellness and I will be hosting another #Blog4MH challenge in January 2016! We are hoping that by starting off the New Year in this way we can continue to radiate the uplifting and positive energy that onsets with the holidays and start 2016 on a high note.
For many people, the holidays are a joyous and exciting time of the year with family dinners, parties with friends, and festive activities, but for many others the holidays can be overwhelming; provoking feelings of loneliness/anxiety. Additionally, some people feel disconnected from the environment around them, even when surrounded at the dinner table with a room full of people they care for.
Regardless of your experience, the holidays can elicit a spectrum of emotions and can be emotionally tiresome.
